Rule of space explored here, by taking advantage of blank
   background, with light leading to the subjects, and the space
   between them, by cropping the sides, to increase the
   sense of a duel.

Fight to the death! I think you did a good job of making this photo look dramatic and have tension. The high contrast lighting works brilliantly.
