A street musician in Buenos Aires.

A great entertainer, singer and musician performing in the famous Florida Street.
Next to him was a cardboard he had written, saying "El canto es Cultura, cante!" (Singing is culture, so sing!).
He was having a lot of fun with everybody around him when I caught his glance at the camera.

Florida Street, Buenos Aires, Argentina. January 2010.

This musician looks like a Spaniard - the way how I imagine Spanish people as brown skin because of a lot of sun influence, very good guitar players. The Spanish playing technique is very unique. It is a special plucking technique with the fingers. Great, I like it, but cannot manage it this way.

I do not feel him sitting in the street but rather on a Hacienda, looking into the wild fields and wilderness around, transforming his feelings into music.

Very intensive expression on his face. Great photo :)

Thank you. :thanks:
Indeed, he surely has Spanish ancestry. What I found to be interesting was that he seemed to know all the people around him... I guess he made that street his 'hacienda'. :)

Thanks. I thought I'd try to capture a sense of action... it's far from perfect, of course. ;)
