Pena Forest by Miguel-Santos Pena Forest by Miguel-Santos

Pena National Palace, Sintra, Portugal.

A panorama of the forest surrounding this iconic 19thc. palace.
I wanted to capture the feeling of that view, which makes this place so special.
Hope you enjoy it too. :)

I was here very recently!!! It is really beautiful :D Is the view from the Castelo do Moros or something like that? I only went to Palacio da Pena!

For a lot of people, I’m sure a spot like this would be perfect for reflection, for relaxation or even just for leisure. I could imagine staring out into this Disney-like structure from the tower and getting a complete view of the trees around Pena Forest… an experience often imitated, but surely, never duplicated.

If you wanted to capture that feeling, I’d say you succeeded admirably. You’ve shot with just the right amount of sunshine to light up the trees, without it becoming too glaring. Needless to say, it’s a gorgeous photo of an already gorgeous setting, not easy to pull off. Keep up the wonderful shooting, sir!

Amazing! What a fantastic and awe-inspiring view!

That flash of red towering over the vast carpet of green, it is like a fairy tale castle!
Nice find, and excellent choice of location, angle and time of day to shoot this panoramic fiesta!
